I know if anybody applys for credit a lot in a short time, multiple credit searches go against you and you have to wait around 6 month before trying again. Will this affect a mortgage application?Mortgages! Does it work the same as applying for a credit card etc?
It can bring down your overall score a few points but shouldn't make a huge impact. they may look at who was checking your credit... did you apply for a bunch of credit cards and if so, why?
